Singing For Freedom


This is one of my favorite moments in Black History.  Here is this African American woman, Marian Anderson, who was world renowned, and she could NOT sing in her Nation's Capital.  Here she was sought after selling out halls everywhere!  When she was denied to sing becaause of the color of her skin people began to act!  A moment at the Lincoln Center was organized!
