During the Road to Revolution - American Revolution. The colonists did not like the Stamp Act, and organized. They formed the Stamp Act Congress to protest, boycott, and get Parliament to repeal the Stamp Act. They were MOST upset that they do not have representation in Parliament. Then they GOT what they wanted. England repealed the Stamp Act! I believe this why they kept protesting, boycotting, and organizing.
Sadly though England said oh you don't want to pay tax on paper? Well now you get to pay it on everything else! They passed the Townshend Acts. So be careful what you wish for!
