The Power of One

I LOVE the idea of this!  We all have gifts and resources to give the world.  Here are some of my favorite examples of the Power of One:

Dr. Salk figured out how to cure Polio.  Instead of patening the cure and gaining BILLIONS - he gave it to the world to help people.  WOW!

This was a student protest in Beijing.  No one knows who this guy was, but MAN he made a statement!!!!

I LOVE This!  Using gifts to help people!!!!  Haircuts are life changing!

The Power of One: Andrea Miller

This is Andrea Miller.  She is a political and election strategist who used her voice to help EVERYONE VOTE - No Matter What!  I do not care who will vote for - I want you to participate in your DEMOCRACY!!!!  So when I heard about this BRAVE woman - I had to highlight her!  She foundedthe Center for Common Good to make sure people vote!  Below is a video highlighting and describing this AMAZING Woman!

Safety in our World

I LOVE the idea of the power of one.  I truly believe we were all given a talent to share with the World!  Mr. Karakatsanis LOVES Safety for all, and crusades for it!  We all say to our self what the problem is and how to fix it, but that is it!  Mr. Karakatsanis is trying to do something about it!

He has gained fame through his Twitter!  He knows Republican's will vote how they do - so he is talking directly to the Democrats about solutions WE know WORKS!  The video below is when he went on the Daily Show to talk about his ideas!  I am so impressed!  Watch if you can!

History has been made!

History has been made!  Ketanji Brown Jackson has been confirmed to the United States Supreme Court!  She is our first African American Woman on the court!  So exciting!

The Power of One!

Be a HERO!

This is an INCREDIBLE story that illustrates the Power of One!  I am talking to myself - we can all make a difference!!!!  This guy is INCREDIBLE!!!  He took down a shooter at Waffle House!  He received 2nd degree burns on his hand from grabbing the gun!  Then he charged the shooter after a bullet grazed his elbow!!!  Wow!  I am not sure I would be that brave!

He went on Ellen to tell his story, and then he surprised him with his favorite basketball player!  Pulls at your heart strings!  Enjoy!

I cannot find the clip of him telling his story, but look it up!!!  It is incredible!

I am so HAPPY that there are people like Ben Crump standing up for what is right and persuing justice and equality!
